  1. Ok, here's your first question :)
When I start my computer with my external hard drive disk plugged in, the computer doesn't boot saying it didn't found any boot partition. I checked the boot priority in my BIOS and it's ok (1-CD; 2-Internal HardDrive...) Any idea what the problem is ?

  5. @Khorne Is the external HD through USB?

also since the boot sequence in BIOS is correct, doesnt make a whole lot of sense why it would error. Well is there a correctly formated partion on the ext HD? is there an OS installed on it? Also whats the OS on the main drive?

not that it makes any sense but you could try to fix the boot record using windows recovery console(xp) that is of course after you have correctly partitioned the drive to begin with

I have 2 partitions on my disk (1 NTFS and 1 FAT32 for my ps3), no OS installed. It worked perfectly for more than 2 years, but since a few weeks I keep getting tha error.
